Knowledge Management Seminars is offering a "hands-on" full-day "Advanced Searching and Organization of Internet Information" seminar at its new training center at 34 North Gore, Webster Groves, Missouri. The seminar will be presented by Mary Toy and Christine Gilsinan, both experienced attorneys who have trained judges, lawyers and other legal professionals in Internet research.

Training will be "on-line" at individual PC stations equipped with high-speed ADSL Internet access. The program will focus on the newest and best tools (vetted by the experienced presenters) for identifying and keeping track of identified Internet resources and quickly accessing them; deciding when to use the Internet and when to use more traditional research tools; new search engines, changes to existing search engines, and how to keep current; formulating search strategies; when paying for information is worth it; the secrets of the "Hidden Web;" rules of thumb for searching on-line databases; and the best of legal, medical, corporate, financial and other information databases.

The seminar is a full day in length and is being presented on Sept. 27, Sept. 28, Sept. 29. Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, 1999. The cost is $415 per person (including lunch and morning and afternoon breaks). Seating is limited to ten persons per day.
